Charlie J Martel / Matière Première L’Atelier
Passionnée par la matière, Charlie J Martel réalise des teintures murales sur mesure ou au grès de ses envies. Pour elle, la réalisation est aussi importante que le résultat final. [Certaines pièces peuvent prendre plus de 100 heures de travail.] Le tissage commence lors du traitement de la toison brute, locale, en passant par le rinçage à la main à la rivière puis le cardage dans son atelier à Goult. Elle incorpore ensuite des matières recyclées dans ses tissages plein de poésie.
Elle anime également des ateliers tissage sur rendez-vous pour partager son amour de la matière.
Au fil des années, elle multiplie les expérimentations tissées : pochettes, coussins, bouillottes, ponchos et luminaires.
