Vincent Girard
Artiste des Lumières, lampes en déchets verriers
Vincent Girard est un « vrai et authentique artiste », depuis 35 ans.
Installé à Lyon, de la génération de l’Ecole Lyonnaise, très tôt il perçoit la source d’inspiration que constitue la récupération d’objets et le recyclage du verre. Son univers créatif l’amène à inventer et imaginer des lampes et lampadaires excessivement originaux et avant-gardistes. Fabriqués exclusivement à partir de récupérations de déchets verriers, issus de l’Industrie, ou tout simplement des résidus de bouteilles, son imagination débridée l’amène à accoucher de magnifiques objets de Lumière, de toutes tailles et de toutes formes, et aux couleurs les plus variées.
L’évolution de son œuvre le porte à innover sans cesse. Capable de créer des lustres monumentaux comme de petits bijoux de lampes, il plaît à toutes les générations.
Aujourd’hui, alors qu’une déferlante autour de la récupération d’Objet et de l’Upcycling voit le jour, Vincent Girard garde son cap et savoure sa vision et son côté « avant-gardiste ».
Reconnu par ses pairs, adoubé par les collectionneurs, Vincent Girard sera présent à la première de l’Upcycling Festival et proposera des œuvres originales à la vente.
Il sera aussi en création live, pour une œuvre spécialement imaginée pour cet événement!
